ShoreTel Ex-VP Engineering Joins InSpeed Networks
InSpeed Networks, the only provider of SD-WAN solutions focused on voice and videoconferencing, welcomes Dale Tonogai to the team. Dale was most recently co-founder at Lattice Health Systems and before that Vice President of Engineering at ShoreTel. During his 17 years at ShoreTel he grew the engineering team to 200 people, led the company through multiple successful product launches and achieved the enviable milestone of having his system scale to support more than 4 million voice customers.
“It’s great to be back with the old team building ground-breaking products and changing the communications landscape once again,” said Dale Tonogai. “I really enjoyed my time at ShoreTel, not only leading teams writing code but also sitting down with our partners and incorporating their suggestions into our products. I remember when our partners told us to build a special feature into our product, we did so and subsequently closed a huge order with the world’s largest specialized staffing agency. I hope to do similar things at InSpeed.”
“We’re delighted to have Dale join us,” said Ed Basart, CEO of InSpeed. “This is the third start-up at which we’ve had the good fortune to work together. I look forward to Dale and I visiting our partners and end customers, explaining our technology and helping to grow business.”
InSpeed Networks is the only provider of SD-WAN solutions that were designed from the ground-up to address the needs of interactive applications.
